چکیده
The study investigated the phytochemical and in-vitro antioxidants potential of Aristolochia bracteolata root extracts. Qualitative quantitative analysis plant extract fractions were carried out. total antioxidant free radical scavenging activity measured by 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl, FRAP TBARS methods. Results obtained showed that saponins (10.10 ± 0.05d) as well found to be significantly (p< 0.05) higher in methanol compared fractions. From findings above, contains bioactive phytochemicals might helpful preventing or slowing progress various oxidative stresses.

Activity of Aristolochia bracteolata against Moraxella catarrhalis
A bioassay-guided fractionation of methanol extract of Aristolochia bracteolata whole plant was carried out in order to evaluate its antimicrobial activity and to identify the active compounds in this extract. Antibacterial and antifungal activities of methanol extract against gram-positive, gram-negative, and fungal strains were investigated by the agar disk diffusion method. Among the strains...
متن کاملAntiallergic activity of Aristolochia bracteolata Lank in animal model.
Antiallergic activity of Aristolochia bracteolata was evaluated by using compound 48/80 induced anaphylaxis, dermatitis rhinitis and pruritus, as a preclinical model for acute phase of hypersensitivity reactions. The late phase hypersensitivity was evidenced by considering toluidine diisocyanate induced volume of bronchoalveolar fluid secretion and its inhibition. The possible antiallergic mech...
متن کاملPhytochemical screening and in vitro antioxidant potential of methanolic extract of Epipremnum aureum (Linden and Andre)
In the present study, phytochemical constituents and in vitro antioxidative potential of different explants of E. aureum were evaluated. Methanol was used as solvent for extraction of E. aureum three explants (leaf, root and stem). Phytochemical screening was done by performing different chemical tests and presence of carbohydrate, protein, steroid, glycosides, alkaloids, saponins and amino aci...

This study was intentional to assess the antioxidant activity of drugs viz hydro alcohol stem extract of Cassia fistula Linn. (Family: Leguminosae) is also known as Aragvadha. The primary Phytochemical study and in vitro antioxidant study was performed on hydro alcoholic extract of shade dried stem. Modern Phytochemical screening of the plant has shown the presence of phenolic compounds, fatty ...
متن کاملPreliminary Phytochemical Screening and in vitro Antioxidant Potential of Hydro-Ethanolic extract of Euphorbia neriifolia Linn
Oxidative stress induced ROS and free radicals are believed to be major cause of degenerative diseases. Naturally occurring antioxidant supplements from plants are vital to counter the oxidative damage in cells. We assessed the antioxidant potential and phytochemical constituents of crude hydro-alcoholic extract of Euphorbia neriifolia (EN) using tests involving inhibition of DPPH, H2O2, supero...
